China Cements invests in a new cement plant in Uganda

West International Holding, which is a subsidiary of China West Cement, invests in a 6000 tpd cement plant in Uganda. The investment cost for the project is US$ 300m, which will produce 2.2 Mta cement. The new plant will be completed in about two years time at the end of 2025 or beginning of 2026.
